Kristin Binder - Editor

In 2008, Kristin gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Peyton Elizabeth, who was born with a very rare form of infant leukemia. Though Peyton fought with the heart of a prize fighter, the battle was too great, and twenty-eight days later she left this world from the comfort of her mother’s arms.

Kristin blogs about mothering and grieving Peyton, as well as her struggles with secondary infertility, IVF, and the emotional ups and downs of pregnancy and parenting after loss on her blog, Once A Mother. She and her husband run an initiative to assist other critically-ill infants and their families called Doing Good In Her Name. She is a monthly contributor to Still Standing Magazine.

Kristin’s short story, Lost and Found, appeared in Mused: The BellaOnline Literary Review. She Inspires Magazine named Kristin’s blog one of the Top 21 blogs to inspire creativity. She recently completed her first novel, and is working on a memoir.

Kristin makes her home in New England with her husband, a sweet black lab named Charlotte, and “The Snowflakes,” twins conceived via IVF.
